    #luna-utils

Version 0.2.0 rebuilds the backend-independent numeric base for Luna-Flow. It depends only on moonbitlang/core and now includes binary64 and binary32 IEEE 754 representation, round-to-integral, extrema and ordering APIs. This migration removes all 0.1.x array/comparison helpers: the root package currently exports no functions, types or traits. The float and float/binary32 subpackages provide classification, NaN canonicalization and exact integer bit operations (#25). Other numeric packages in tracking issue #19 remain planned. The current float APIs cover representation and selected IEEE 754 operations; remaining extrema variants, comparison predicates, integer arithmetic and exception-status behavior are still tracked in the linked issues.

    #Migration and documentation

See CHANGELOG, the manual, array migration and comparison migration before upgrading. Core substitutions change empty-input, overflow, NaN and invalid-bound behavior; they are not blanket semantic equivalents.

The manual is published at luna-flow.github.io/en/luna-utils with Simplified Chinese and Japanese translations. English source lives in doc/manual; translations are gettext catalogs in doc/locale. See the contribution checklist.

See backend conformance testing for the CI contract, offline oracle corpus and local commands.

See the float API, tutorial and conformance limits. NaN metadata is preserved only by integer encoding APIs, not numeric host round trips.
