Version 0.1.2 behavior is documented here. Thesupport record separates local verification frompublished MoonX behavior; moonx examples use registry releases.
With no operand, or with -, standard input is read. Multiple operands areprocessed in order; later file failures do not hide earlier results and producean eventual nonzero status. --help and --version are available. GNUalternate algorithms and tagged output are outside this profile.
Standalone --version prints exactly cksum 0.1.2 followed by onenewline. Standalone --help starts with Usage: cksum, lists bothmetadata options, and ends with a newline. Both write to stdout, leave stdinunread, and exit with status 0. Exact-version publication and verificationremain recorded separately in the support record.
