#012-bifilar-electromagnet

Here's a YouTube video describing the process of how I came up with this model:

    Axial plus Radial Bifilar Electromagnet

If the coils are wound such that the first and second coils share the same radius but are wound next to each other (180-degrees out of phase), and then the next pair of windings is completely rotated 180 degrees, then the capacitance between the coils will be in both the radial direction and the axial direction!

ConductorTotals accumulates simple DC-ish metrics for prismatic conductors.

    Units:
    • length_mm: sum of conductor lengths in mm (for extrusions, the extrude height)
    • volume_mm3: sum of volumes in mm^3
    • mm_over_mm2: sum of (length_mm / area_mm2), used for Rdc estimates
