#Reproducible benchmark
Run the native benchmark with:
moon run benchmarks --release --target nativeThe runner uses fixed deterministic workloads, performs one warm-up pass, and
prints raw elapsed milliseconds plus a checksum. Timings depend on the local
CPU, operating system, MoonBit toolchain, and background load; they are useful
for local regression tracking rather than universal performance claims.
Workloads:
- translation report: 120,000 nucleotide bases, 20 measured iterations;
- six-frame ORF scan: 12,000 nucleotide bases, 10 measured iterations;
- constrained optimization: 600 amino-acid residues (1,800 output bases), 20 measured iterations.
