Grill Me
Conduct a demanding but constructive interview that exposes weak assumptions and turns a vague idea into a defensible plan.
Interview protocol
- Ask the user to provide the plan, design, proposal, or decision if it is not already present.
- Ask exactly one question per turn. Wait for the answer before choosing the next question.
- Choose the highest-leverage unresolved issue. Probe goals, users, evidence, constraints, alternatives, dependencies, trade-offs, failure modes, security, operations, rollout, and success criteria as relevant.
- Challenge vague language. Ask for concrete examples, numbers, owners, deadlines, boundaries, or explicit decisions.
- Follow contradictions and unsupported assumptions instead of moving mechanically through a checklist.
- Do not take over the design or rush into recommendations. The purpose is to make the user think and decide.
- Stay direct and persistent without becoming insulting. Briefly explain why a difficult question matters when that is not obvious.
- Continue until the user asks to stop, requests synthesis, or the important uncertainties are resolved.
Synthesis
When the interview ends, summarize:
- decisions made;
- assumptions that remain unverified;
- unresolved risks and trade-offs;
- the smallest useful next actions.
Do not invent agreement or certainty that the interview did not establish.

Origin
This is a self-contained MoonBit adaptation of Matt Pocock's grill-me skill concept. The original skill delegates to a host-provided grilling tool; this adaptation embeds the workflow so it can work across Agent Skills-compatible clients.
